About TrueCandidate
Remote interviews made it cheap to put someone else in the chair. We help interviewers notice, fairly, while the interview is still happening.
What we do
TrueCandidate runs the video interview and watches a small set of plain signals on the candidate's own device: whether the tab stays in focus, whether a second screen or virtual camera is present, whether the eyes are reading rather than thinking, whether the voice matches the lips. When something looks off, the interviewer gets one quiet sentence and a suggested check. Afterwards a reviewer sees the evidence on the recording and decides.
What we refuse to do
- Score, rank or reject anyone. There is no number, no badge, no automated outcome. A person decides every time.
- Record without consent. The candidate reads what is collected, for how long, and agrees before any media is captured.
- Keep video longer than you set. Recordings delete on your retention schedule; a candidate can request a human re-review at any time.
- Train on candidate video without a separate, optional, withdrawable opt-in.
Who it is for
HR and IT staffing teams that place people remotely and carry the cost when the person who starts is not the person who interviewed. Built by a small team; every customer talks to the people who wrote the code.
